Income tax authorities have said
Karnataka energy minister DK Shiva Kumar was found trying to tear out pages from a diary when they raided the Eagleton Golf Resort near Bangaluru on Wednesday.
Times Now has accessed torn pages of the diary found in the room of the Congress minister who was taking care of Congress MLAs from Gujarat at the resort. The torn pages contain notes detailing financial transactions worth crores of rupees.
The transactions are linked to several individuals, including a top cable operator.
One of the notes mentions that a sum of Rs 3 crore has been paid to the AICC as well. The note has been prepared by an alleged hawala operator, named Rajendra. Times Now has been told that the note, recovered during the raid on the resort, has been ripped out of the diary. Agencies are going through the papers and checking the phone numbers mentioned in the torn pages.
